SUNDAY, JANUARY 28, following the 9 and 11 a.m. services

Canon Daugherty's final day at the cathedral will be Sunday, January 28, and there will be receptions in her honor after the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services. As is our custom, we will bless and send her from the baptismal font, giving thanks for her ministry among us, and follow with receptions celebrating her nearly ten years of ministry. More details to come next week, but mark your calendars now to join one or both of these.

Following. the 9 a.m. service,  a reception will be held in Bloedel Hall. Following the 11 a.m. service, the reception will be in the cathedral nave.

Cake will be served at the reception, along with treats contributed community members.

Jennifer, your ministry at Saint Mark’s has truly inspired me and the time you placed your hands on me for healing in the Contemplative Evening Service touched my life deeply.

God has been with you here and I pray that anointing will continue with you wherever your path may take you.

    Thank you. Bless you.

Canon Daughtry has been one of my favorites on staff at St. Mark’s. Is Canon Daughtry retiring? Sending blessings to her for the future…

I watch each week from my home in Arlington,VA. I am Verger at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Georgetown Parish. I am an organist and am fascinated by the 1965 Flentrop organ at St. Mark’s!

I have become facebook friends with organist John Stuntebeck over time and totally enjoy the music under Michael Kleinschmidt’s leadership!

Thank you for your kind words, John. At this time (Spring 2024) Rev. Daugherty is serving in an interim position at the parish of St. Stephen’s in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Seattle.
