Come learn about the dire situation for migrants and refugees at our southern border from the team that traveled to McAllen/Brownsville, Texas and Matamoros, Mexico in January. Saint Mark’s Sanctuary volunteers Dee Cappelletti, Melinda Kmitta, George Moore, and Maris Olsen and Canon Nancy Ross joined Episcopalians from around the country witnessing the realities and meeting refugees and asylees, some 2000-strong, who are camped in a squalid tent city, most waiting months for a chance for an asylum hearing. What did we see, and what can we do? Learn more, because we can’t turn away!
