Events for December 31, 2020

THURSDAYS, 7 A.M.  Before the closure of the cathedral building, a service of Holy Eucharist was offered each Thursday at 7 a.m., followed by a community breakfast. During the pandemic, a service of morning prayer is offered via Zoom at that time, followed immediately by some time to talk and be together. The outdoor labyrinth on the cathedral’s front lawn remains open and accessible around the clock. Walking the labyrinth on New Year’s Eve is a long-standing tradition at Saint Mark’s, and you are invited to pay a visit any time. From 9 p.m. on December 31, the labyrinth will be decorated with candles and luminaria, weather permitting. (The indoor labyrinth is closed this year due to the pandemic.)
