St. Francis Celebration and Blessing of the Animals

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2020. TWO OPPORTUNITIES:
  • 2:30–3:30 P.M.: DRIVE-THROUGH PRAYER AND ANIMAL BLESSING (no pre-registration required)
  • 4:30 P.M.: IN-PERSON OUTDOOR LITURGY ON THE LABYRINTH (registration required, and available via livestream.)
The Blessing of the Animals around the Feast of St Francis of Assisi has long been a beloved annual tradition at Saint Mark’s. An in-person outdoor liturgy will be offered on the labyrinth at 4:30 p.m., but for those who do not wish to attend in-person worship at this time, a drive-through animal blessing will be offered from 2:30 to 3:30, with no preregistration required.
