6:30 p.m. Special Evening Prayer in memory of Eileen Van Doren

Beloved community member Eileen Van Doren, who recently died, was a faithful participant in Daily Evening Prayer at Saint Mark’s for many years. To honor and celebrate her life, a special service of Evening Prayer with the Burial Rite from The Book of Common Prayer will be offered Thursday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m., live from Thomsen Chapel. Members of Eileen’s family will be in attendance. The Rev. Canon Jennifer King Daugherty will officiate. All are welcome.

There is a special Zoom link for this service (different from the link usually used for Evening Prayer). It will also be livestreamed on the cathedral’s livestream page.

Following the service, participants in the Zoom will be invited to remain for an informal sharing of memories of Eileen—this conversation will not be livestreamed.
