The Mideast Focus Ministry kicks off its seventh annual film series (see announcement, next page) with a very special live performance of a play by Ed Mast and Yusef Mahmoud titled Where I Grew Up. 4 p.m. Choral Recital And Evensong with ‘I Cantori’ of Walla Walla University

The chamber choir “I Cantori,” under the direction of Kraig Scott, is the crown jewel of the choral program at Walla Walla University. At 4 p.m., the choir will offer a brief concert of music drawn from its 2020 tour repertoire, including works by Alice Parker, James MacMillan, William Grant Still, and Dominick Argento. A beloved Seattle institution since 1956, the all-male Compline Choir sings the last monastic office of the day every Sunday at 9:30 p.m. Hundreds pack the nave each week for this meditative service, while thousands more listen to the broadcast on KING-FM, 98.1, streaming online at king.org, or via the podcast.
