20s/30s Work Party at Beacon Food Forest

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21, 10 A.M.–1:30 P.M. 20s/30s, in for an outdoor work party at Beacon Food Forest in collaboration with students from Seattle University's Campus Ministry. There will be a site tour and then opportunity to help with weeding, path/site cleanup, sowing seeds and mulching. Wear good shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Liturgy with sermon and hymns. Music is offered by Saint Mark’s Singers or children’s choirs. Children’s Chapel is offered during the 9 a.m. service. After the Gospel is proclaimed, children pre-school through 2nd grade are invited to Thomsen Chapel for Bible stories, singing, and prayer. Parents are welcome to join their children.
