As the old year passes and a new one begins\, take time in the quiet\, candle-lit space of the cathedral nave to pause\, look inward\, and experience the labyrinth\, accompanied by contemplative music by guest musicians. DESCRIPTION:EVERY WEDNESDAY\, 8:30 A.M.\, via Zoom \nNOTE: This service will be discontinued as of January 2023.  \nON THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH\, 8:30 A.M.\, service is offered in-person in Leffler House AND online via Zoom. (On other Wednesday mornings\, the Zoom-only offering continues.) \n \nJoin together on Zoom at 8:30 a.m. for Wednesday Morning Prayer\, led by one of the lay worship leaders from Saint Mark’s. Occasionally\, one of our priests will also join us and lead us in prayer. All are welcome. \nStarting in September through the end of 2022\, the Wednesday Morning Prayer office will be offered as hybrid—via Zoom as well as in person—on the first Wednesdays of the month. Join us in person in Leffler Living Room at 8:30 a.m. on the first Wednesdays of September\, October\, November\, and December. We will have Books of Common Prayer (and coffee!) available for those joining us in person. Zoom-only Morning Prayer will continue on the second\, third\, fourth\, and last Wednesdays of the month. SUMMARY:Twelfth Night Bonfire and Burning of the Greens
DESCRIPTION:In our tradition\, the celebration of the Feast of Christmas lasts twelve days\, beginning December 25 and ending on January 5 (that is\, the day before the Feast of the Epiphany on January 6). The evening of the last day of Christmas is known as “Twelfth Night\,” and is an opportunity for festivity and reflection. Come together in the cathedral nave on January 5 for a brief rite to bid farewell to Christmastide and to usher in the Season of Epiphany. Then\, we’ll have a bonfire of the Christmas greens in the lower parking lot\,  followed by hot drinks and festive snacks for all.
