SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 3 P.M., at Diocesan House
Bill Plitt, co-founder and longtime leader of Friends of Tent of Nations—North America, will be in the Pacific Northwest in early September. Saint Mark’s Cathedral’s Mideast Focus Ministry and the Bishop’s Committee for Justice and Peace in the Holy Land will host a reception for Bill on Saturday, September 9, 2023, 3 p.m., at Diocesan House, 1551 10th Ave E. (three buildings north of Saint Mark’s Cathedral). Bill Plitt will share his experiences in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and with the Nassar Tent of Nations family—including visits to universities and college campuses, faith-based organizations, and peace & justice groups during more than 15 years of travel through 25 states, with the simple message of “refusing to be enemies.” Questions?
