DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAYS\, MAY 7 – JUNE 4\, St. Nicholas Building\, Room 102 \n \nJOYFUL NOISE is a new\, play-based musical offering at Saint Mark’s Cathedral for babies\, toddlers\, and preschoolers (and their chosen adults!) to explore sound\, build the foundations of music theory\, and develop key physical and social-emotional skills in a joyful\, welcoming community. Classes take place on Wednesdays from May 7 to June 4\, 2025\, in Room 102 of the St. Nicholas Building. Tiny Tones (ages 0–3) meets from 4–4:45 p.m.\, followed by Happy Harmonizers (ages 3–5) from 5–5:45 p.m. \nThe 5-week session is $100\, or $90 each when you sign up with a friend. Partial scholarships are available—no one is turned away due to cost. All are invited to stay afterward for the beloved 6 p.m. Community Dinner. Come make music and memories—register today! \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:EVERY WEDNESDAY (March 23–June 4\, 2025)\, 5:30–6 P.M.\, in McCaw Chapel (behind the altar in the cathedral nave) \nA service of Evening Prayer was held in person on Wednesdays as a special offering during Lent 2025. The reaction was so positive that the participants have decided to continue it through June 4. Gather in McCaw Chapel—the space in the cathedral nave behind the altar platform\, beneath the rose window. Whatever your prior experience with the Daily Office\, come and pray together in community. Several St. Mark’s parishioners have and they wish to share their experiences and enthusiasm for the Camino! This Cathedral Commons will cover questions such as: What is a pilgrimage and what is the Camino de Santiago? What are the most popular routes to Santiago? How does one make this journey?  How are pilgrims changed by their experience and how do they serve future peregrinos? We may also have a brief presentation from the Friends of the Anglican Pilgrim Centre in Santiago promoting the beautiful guesthouse\, Casa Anglicana del Peregrinos\, and the historic Church of San Felix de Solovio (“San Fiz”) where Anglican liturgies are celebrated in English.
