DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAYS\, MAY 7 – JUNE 4\, St. Nicholas Building\, Room 102 \n \nJOYFUL NOISE is a new\, play-based musical offering at Saint Mark’s Cathedral for babies\, toddlers\, and preschoolers (and their chosen adults!) to explore sound\, build the foundations of music theory\, and develop key physical and social-emotional skills in a joyful\, welcoming community. Classes take place on Wednesdays from May 7 to June 4\, 2025\, in Room 102 of the St. Nicholas Building. Tiny Tones (ages 0–3) meets from 4–4:45 p.m.\, followed by Happy Harmonizers (ages 3–5) from 5–5:45 p.m. \nThe 5-week session is $100\, or $90 each when you sign up with a friend. Partial scholarships are available—no one is turned away due to cost. All are invited to stay afterward for the beloved 6 p.m. Community Dinner. Come make music and memories—register today! \n  \n

The reaction was so positive that the participants have decided to continue it through June 4. Gather in McCaw Chapel—the space in the cathedral nave behind the altar platform\, beneath the rose window. Whatever your prior experience with the Daily Office\, come and pray together in community. DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAY\, MAY 28\, 6:45–8:15 P.M.\, in person only\, starting in the cathedral nave. Optional community dinner in Bloedel Hall at 6 p.m. ($6/child; $8/adult; $25/max. family) \nAn outdoor liturgy for Rogation Day\, an observance that dates to the 5th century. For 1\,500 years\, the weekdays preceding Ascension Day have been marked by outdoor prayers and thanksgiving for the fruitful Earth. Following the community dinner in Bloedel Hall\, participants will process around the cathedral grounds\, stopping to reflect and pray at significant locations. Canon Rich Weyls will officiate. The liturgy includes a portion of the Great Litany. \nOptional community dinner served at 6 p.m. ($6/child; $8/adult; $25/max. family)
