SUMMARY:Radix Opening Plenary: Stories of Recognition in Scripture
DESCRIPTION:OPENING PLENARY: SUNDAY\, OCTOBER 5\, 2025\, 7 P.M.\, via Zoom\, no registration required \nSMALL GROUPS MEET: ONCE A WEEK FOR SIX WEEKS\, STARTING THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 6\, in person OR online via Zoom; registration required \nSince January 2020\, The Radix Project has invited Saint Mark’s community members into small groups to share their stories\, reflect on Holy Scripture and sacred art\, and pray for one another with intention. Offered 14 times in the past five years\, this beloved program continues to nurture deep connection and spiritual growth. \nThis fall\, Radix 15 takes up the theme “Stories of Recognition in Scripture.” \nThe theme could not be more timely or essential: we are called to recognize in everyone we meet both our common humanity and the spark of divinity within—a recognition that grounds our shared identity as beloved children of God. Within the Radix small group format\, participants practice active listening and respectful communication as they form and deepen relationships with one another. \nJoin the plenary using this Zoom link \nRegister for small group using this form. Deadline to register: October 1\, 2025.

SUMMARY:Cathedral Commons—Naming Our Thresholds
DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAY\, OCTOBER 8\, 2025\, 6:45–8:15 P.M.\nin person in Bloedel Hall and online via Zoom\n \nFacilitated by the Rev. Canon Emily Griffin \n \nThresholds are places for entering and leaving—for moving from one kind of space or time to another. We make these kinds of transitions throughout our lives but often don’t know how to prepare for them\, mark them\, or discern the shape of our lives in light of them. In this session\, we will share tools for narrating our own life stories and explore how our shared story as Christians helps us make meaning of our endings that are also new beginnings. Learn more here. \nJoin using this Zoom link \nProgram is free; optional community dinner at 6 p.m. ($8/adult; $25/family max.)
