Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.\nWe are an all ages venue. Kids 10 & under are free at most Abbey Arts events. Be sure to select a kids free ticket when purchasing.\nSt. Mark’s has a pay-to-park lot. More parking information is available here.  Free street parking around the area.\n\nDo not block fire lanes or you will be towed. \n\n\n\nSEATING:\n\nOpen GA seating (and standing in back) except reserved front rows where noted\nTo create a “giant living room” effect we offer an unusual concert experience with informal seating on the floor up front surrounding the stage and lots of pews\, benches\, and chairs around the space.  Floor space is not reserved. Arrive early!\nWe highly recommend you bring blankets and cushions to create a more comfortable experience whether sitting on the floor or seats. Quiet and non-messy snacks/picnics are allowed. No outside alcohol.\nFor best sound\, arrive early for center floor area and any area on stage not marked with signage. You can also sit all around the back of the stage if you like but sound will be a bit limited there.\n\nQUIET POLICY:\n\nPlease silence all devices. Turn off vibrate\, rings\, etc. If you need your phone on vibrate for specific reasons\, please keep it close to you and not on a hard surface that will distract your neighbor.\nIf arriving late\, please be advised that ushers may hold doors during each song due to acoustics of the space.\nPlease refrain from talking during the performances.\nPlease enter quietly if the show has already begun.\n\n\nNO CAMERAS WITH MECHANICAL SHUTTERS (This goes for Press too unless approved to photograph during applause only.) That means silent mode / digital cameras/phones are generally ok in very limited use but we really recommend you enjoy most of the show through your own ‘retina screens’.  For any video or photo capturing more than 20-30 seconds please move to the side or back of space.\nAnyone exhibiting loud or disruptive behavior during the event will be asked to leave.\n\n\n**We are unable to provide a separate soundproof room for viewing this event. These shows are sometimes very very pin drop quiet so please consider that when deciding what ages are appropriate. No cry room available at this venue and even voices in the lobby will be heard in the concert space. Thank you for understanding.\n\nSOCIALS:\n\nUse #seattlecathedrals and tag @abbeyarts on Instagram\n\n

SUMMARY:Godly Play
DESCRIPTION:FIRST AND THIRD SUNDAYS OF THE MONTH\, 10–11 A.M.\, in the St Nicholas Building\, 2nd floor \nOn May 4\, there will be an open house of the classrooms instead of a usual lesson. \nOn May 18\, Godly Play participants are encourages to go to Bloedel Hall\, where Canon Griffin will be offering a Godly Play lesson for the whole congregation. \nGodly Play meets as usual on the first and third Sundays June\, June 1 and 15\, and then takes a summer hiatus until September. \nDeveloped over the course of the last 40 years\, Godly Play is a Montessori-informed curriculum and method of exploring the sacred stories and practices of our religious tradition in a way that creates a space for “listening to God with children.” \nRegular Godly Play gatherings for kids age 3 and up are offered on the first and third Sundays of the month in the 10 a.m. hour. Saint Mark’s offers two Godly Play groups: the Weavers’ Class (age 3 to grade 2) and the Fishers’ Class (grades 3 to 5).
