Each Saturday from 9:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.\, local practitioners gather together in the Saint Mark’s Cathedral Skinner Auditorium (located in the St Nicholas School Building\, just north of the cathedral building\, 1501 10th Ave E.) for a community meditation\, teaching\, and coffee social. \nGatherings begin with a guided sit from 9:30–10 a.m. designed to accommodate and empower a wide variety of practices\, from Buddhist meditation to centering prayer. The morning continues with a Dhamma teaching and Q&A from 10–11 followed by a chance\, for those who want\, to discuss life and practice over coffee from 11–noon. DESCRIPTION:EVERY MONDAY\, in the cathedral nave \nDOORS OPEN AT 6 P.M. (Door are locked at the beginning of class at 6:30 p.m.)\nYOGA CLASS 6:30–7:30 P.M. \nIn the sacred space of Saint Mark’s Cathedral\, this spiritual practice is designed to improve health\, release tension\, and deepen spirituality. It is a gentle\, restorative\, and contemplative practice\, and the instructors guide the group in ways that welcome newcomer and experienced practitioners alike. \n\nPay what you can.\nMats are available to borrow (first come\, first served).\nThe doors into the cathedral are opened at 6 p.m. and then locked at 6:30 p.m.\nOn the third Monday of each month the class ends with an extended savasana with Sound Bath\, 7:30–7:45 p.m. As the doors are locked at 6:30\, it is no longer possible to attend the sound bath without attending the class. Participants are encouraged to stay for the entire experience if possible.\nOn the fourth Monday of each month\, class is followed by social time with tea and chat.\n\nLearn more here. Questions? (SEPTEMBER–JUNE)\, Thomsen Chapel  \n \nThis evening Eucharist offers periods of silence for reflection\, simple meditative music\, and lots of candlelight. \nAnointing and healing blessings are offered after the service. Learn more here. \nNOTE: in 2025 Contemplative Eucharist is cancelled on November 30 due to the O Antiphons liturgy in the nave at that time. On December 21\, the Contemplative Eucharist will be a special service offered especially for those for whom the Holiday season is a difficult or painful time.

SUMMARY:Pentecost Run\, Ride\, Roll at Seward Park
DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY\, MAY 24\, 2026\, 3-4:30 P.M.\, Seward Park\, Lake Washington Blvd. S.\, Seattle \nCalling all bikers\, scooters\, walkers\, rollerbladers\, runners\, unicycles and so forth to join in a Pentecost Sunday Ride/Run/Roll around Seward Park in Southeast Seattle. We will meet on the lawn near the Seward Park Playground at 3 p.m. From there\, we will head around the Seward Park 2-mile paved and flat loop. The day ends with the traditional root beer floats! All ages and generations are encouraged to join in. Families with children should plan to chaperone their own children around the loop as needed.
