OPEN FRONT DOOR MINISTRY

Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral is proud to announce the formation of its brand new Open Front Door Ministry. The mission of this ministry is to help visitors find answers to their questions and needs, by way of facilitating connections to the resources and services listed in the Emerald City Resource Guide. Volunteers (a male-female team) will staff a desk located in the cathedral's narthex (entryway) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The ministry will provide:

• water
• snacks
• restroom access
• bus tickets
• socks
• hygiene products.

Our goal is to greet all visitors to the Saint Mark’s campus, and to recognize them as children of God. We see this work as a new opportunity to serve the residents of our community and our city, and to continue our calling to serve God in all people.
