DESCRIPTION:FRIDAY\, JUNE 27\, 5:30 P.M.\, in the cathedral nave and livestreamed \nThe Summer Choral Training Course offered by RSCM West (the West Coast chapter of the Royal School of Church Music–America) is being offered this year from June 23–29 in Tacoma\, and Saint Mark’s Cathedral will host a service of Choral Evensong offered by the children and adult participants of the course on Friday evening\, June 27. All are welcome to attend. \nThe choir will offer an exquisitely melodic setting of the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis by C. Villiers Stanford\, and anthems by Rosephanye Powell and Gerald Knight. The whole assembly will join in singing the beloved hymn\, The church’s one foundation. The Music Director of the course this year is Janet Yieh; the Course Organist is David Boeckh (a member of Saint Mark’s Evensong Choir).
