Before joining the staff of Saint Mark’s, Kelly volunteered for more than a decade in college, youth, and children’s church programs. She found her way into the Episcopal Church because of her love for the Godly Play curriculum. Kelly joined Saint Mark’s in 2015, and has served in a variety of roles, including the Vestry, Children’s Chapel leader, Godly Play storyteller, occasional preacher, and as a licensed Eucharistic Minister. She holds a Master’s degree from University of Puget Sound and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Furman University. Kelly also works as a pediatric Occupational Therapist at Seattle Therapy Network, supporting families of children with special needs. She and her husband Jacob have three elementary-aged children. In January of 2020 she was named Associate for Spiritual Formation, a role which encompasses leadership of Children’s and Family Ministries, coordination of the Radix Project/Small Group Ministry, and responsibility for Baptismal Formation.
