The Rev. Canon Linzi Stahlecker

Cathedral Canon & Associate to the Rector

Linzi was born and raised in London, England. She studied Psychology at University College, London before starting work in broadcast TV and radio. Linzi moved to Seattle in 2001. In 2009 she left her corporate job to retrain as a birth doula and personal trainer, specializing in mindfulness-based work with pregnant and post-partum women. She ran her own practice until the Holy Spirit led her somewhere entirely unexpected!

For the first two decades of her adult life, Linzi was a committed atheist and materialist. This worldview unraveled about 10 years ago in response to a threshold spiritual experience, a deconstructing and life-altering conversion experience which ultimately brought her back to the Church. Linzi graduated with her M.Div. from the School of Theology and Ministry at Seattle University and did her Clinical Pastoral Education training at Harborview Medical Center.

Linzi served as Curate following her ordination to the Priesthood in June of 2022, and she became Cathedral Canon & Associate to the Rector in January of 2024.

Linzi lives in the Crown Hill neighborhood of Seattle with Troy, her spouse, and their three teenage children.
