On most Wednesday nights, a delicious dinner is served in Bloedel Hall from 6 to 6:30. (Note: Food service ends at 6:30 p.m., sharp.) $6/child; $8/adult; $25/max. family Cathedral Commons programs often follow at 6:45 p.m.

Meal Sharing Ministry: St. Martin de Porres Shelter

We provide a hot dinner to Saint Martin de Porres, a shelter for men over 50, on the third Sunday of every month. We will cook at Saint Mark’s and deliver the meal to the shelter. If you would like to cook, help serve food, and get to know some members of our community outside the Cathedral walls, we would welcome your help. Sunday Forum: Poetry of the Season with Prof. Doug Thorpe

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17, 10:10–10:50 A.M., Bloedel Hall Winter solstice brings the first day of winter and a return of more sunlight. Drawing from a selection of poems connected to the season, parishioner and English professor Doug Thorpe will join with members of the 20/30s group to guide us in a time of reading and reflection to discover creation themes. A slideshow of light-inspired photos from Saint Mark's parishioners will also be shared.
