SUMMARY:Spring Nature Therapy Walks
DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAY\, MAY 6 & SATURDAY\, JUNE 20\n10 A.M. – NOON at Volunteer Park (registration required)\nIn early observance of Rogation Days\, the parish will offer two Spring Nature Therapy Walks in Volunteer Park. These will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on May 6 (in observance of Rogation Days) and on June 20 (the Eve of the Summer Solstice). The purpose of the walk is to slow down\, open our senses\, and enjoy the beauty and healing that nature has to offer. Everyone is welcome\, no experience is necessary\, and we will walk at a slow\, gentle pace. \nThe walks will be led by Dan Stroh\, a certified forest therapy guide\, in cooperation with Ancient Earth Outings. \nThere is no cost\, but space is limited\, so registration is required. \nFor more information\, you may contact Canon Rich at rweyls@saintmarks.org.

SUMMARY:Queer in Christ Ecumenical Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Mix and mingle with your QuiC family and friends as we join with our queer siblings from Saint Joe’s for pizza and pop in the park! This is a first of many ecumenical gatherings we hope to kick off as we plan future QuiC programming. We will have ice breakers and discuss our upcoming plans for Pride. Bring a blanket and some camping chairs for seating\, if you have them. Please email queerinchrist@saintmarks.org if you plan to come so we have an estimated headcount\, all are welcome regardless of whether you email in advance or not. \nGather at the Thomas Burke Memorial in Volunteer Park (rain location: meet in the front of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church).

We will meet at the entrance of the nave and walk to Volunteer Park for a potluck and discussion. \nOur second gathering September 28. We will be discussing the final four chapters of the book.
