Godly Play

Godly Play is a Montessori-based curriculum that recognizes that children are already in relationship with God. It invites them to wonder deeply about the core stories of scripture and imaginatively explore our liturgical traditions as it gives them practice in speaking the language of our Christian faith. Teachers receive specialized training and must pass a background check and complete Safe Church training. Godly Play is typically offered on the first at third Sundays of the month (September through June). Classes are open to children in preschool through fifth grade and meet on the mezzanine of the St. Nicholas Building. Find the upcoming schedule of lessons below.
