Getting Here

Saint Mark’s is located at 1245 Tenth Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98102

Our business hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Contact our staff by emailing info@saintmarks.org or calling 206-323-0300.

To access the cathedral for quiet prayer and reflection or to meet with a clergy or staff person, enter through the office entrance marked Hoerster Annex. This entrance is located off the lower lot of the south side of the building; if the doors are locked, ring the doorbell.

Accessibility

Most of the building is fully accessible via the elevator, which is located at the Hoerster Annex entrance. The cathedral nave is also easily accessible via the ramp on the left side of the patio steps (closest to the south parking lot).

Directions

By Bus

Saint Mark's is easily accessed from downtown by Metro Bus #49. You can visit the King County Metro website to plan your trip.

By Car

Navigate to 1245 10th Ave E, Seattle. The entrance to our parking lot is located at a pedestrian stoplight at the intersection of 10th Avenue E and E Galer Street.

Parking

There is parking in our lot to the north and south of our building. Street parking is also available in the neighborhood; carefully observe all posted parking restrictions as they are enforced at all times.

Parking in our lot is free and unrestricted all day on Sundays.

On other days, parking is free for those attending cathedral liturgies or other official cathedral-sponsored events. If you are visiting the cathedral on official business during the day, ask for a parking pass at the reception desk.

Those here for events on the property not produced by the cathedral or visitors to other tenants on the property will typically need to pay the usual rate.* Please follow the posted signs.

*Sometimes the producers of an event in the cathedral choose to pay for parking in advance as part of their rental agreement, making parking free for their attendees; sometimes they do not. Please check with the event producers to find out. Revenue collected from parking fees is placed in a restricted fund and used only for urgent maintenance and long-deferred improvements to the parking lot itself.

Electric Vehicle Charging Station

The cathedral’s electric vehicle charging station was installed in 2021 in dedication to the memory of community member Jim Mulligan. Non-parishioners will be charged for use. Parishioners may obtain a code to use the station without charge. To do this, you must first connect to the EV station and then call or drop by the reception desk for a code. Please do not share this code with others.
