20s/30s Book Club Offering: How We Learn to be Brave
SUNDAY, AUGUST 10, 12–2 P.M., outdoors in Volunteer Park; meet in the rear of the nave at noon
All individuals in their 20s and 30s are invited to join for a series of two discussions on the book How We Learn to be Brave by the Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde, who is the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington D.C. Our first discussion will be held on August 10, focusing on the first three chapters. We will meet at the entrance of the nave and walk to Volunteer Park for a potluck and discussion.
Our second gathering September 28. We will be discussing the final four chapters of the book. You can attend even if you missed the first one!
