Join the community of Saint Mark’s Cathedral for a Day of Prayer and Spiritual Practices on Saturday, May 10, 2025. In addition to an online 24-hour prayer vigil led by at-home volunteers, we will offer in-person prayer and several spiritual practice opportunities at the Cathedral from 1–9:15 p.m.
The day will be bookmarked by hourly prayers with facilitator-led spiritual practices, including: centering prayer, Taizé chants, meditative Greenbelt walk, in addition to prayer and spiritual practices for youth.
Arrive any time between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. and stay as long as you are able.
A general (tentative) outline of the day is as follows (subject to change):
1 p.m. – Labyrinth walk
2 p.m. – Praying with beads
3 p.m. – Embodied Prayer
4 p.m. – Youth opportunities
5 p.m. – Evening Prayer with Schola Quartet
6 p.m. – Praying with Mandalas
7 p.m. – Centering Prayer & Taizé Chants
8 p.m. – Examen & Chanting the Psalms
9 p.m. – Compline with Compline Choir Quartet
