Godly Play

FIRST AND THIRD SUNDAYS OF THE MONTH, 10–11 A.M., in the St Nicholas Building, 2nd floor

Note: Godly Play will NOT meet on November 3, due to the Baptism celebration on All Saints’ Sunday. It will meet on the second Sunday of the months, November 10, instead. It will them meet on November 17 as usual.

Developed over the course of the last 40 years, Godly Play is a Montessori-informed curriculum and method of exploring the sacred stories and practices of our religious tradition in a way that creates a space for “listening to God with children.”

Regular Godly Play gatherings for kids age 3 and up are offered on the first and third Sundays of the month in the 10 a.m. hour. Saint Mark’s offers two Godly Play groups: the Weavers’ Class (age 3 to grade 2) and the Fishers’ Class (grades 3 to 5). Meet in the classrooms on the second floor of the St. Nicholas Building.
