Godly Play Orientation

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 10 A.M., St. Nicholas Bldg, 2nd floor classrooms

On Sunday, September 7 following the 9 am service, we welcome families with children in preschool through fifth grade to Godly Play Orientation! This is a great opportunity for children to reconnect with each other after the summer, decorate a name tag, meet teachers new and returning, and spend some time in our beautiful and newly refreshed classrooms. Parents can register their children and hear a Godly Play story with them.

Please Note: on this day, one parent must remain with their child. Because this is the same day as the Parish Picnic, Children’s Chapel will be offered during the adult sermon at both 9 am and 11 am services. Families who attend the 9 am service are encouraged to meet up at the Volunteer Park playground during the 11 am service, and return at noon for the picnic and the Blessing of Backpacks and Briefcases.

Godly Play is (usually) held on the first and third Sundays of the month following the 9 am service from September through June, except in November 2025 and April 2026 when it will meet on the second and third Sundays.
