SATURDAY, JUNE 28, 12–6 P.M., in the cathedral nave
On Saturday, June 28, from noon to 6 p.m. Saint Mark’s will host Quiet Pride, intentionally coinciding with Capitol Hill’s PrideFest. Located four blocks north of the bustling street fair on Broadway, the cathedral will offer a space for anyone to cool down, relax, and be refreshed in the calm and peaceful cathedral nave. There will be opportunities for a guided tour, live music, art to make, and activities indoors and out to appeal to a variety of ages and interests, but you can also simply take some time for private meditation or just a quiet pause.
This event is part of the Sacred Spaces series of summer offerings.
If you would be interested in helping to plan the offerings, or to be present as a host during the event, please email Canon Barrie: wbarrie@saintmarks.org
