Third Acters is a group for anyone aged 60 and older with a goal to build community in the "Third Act" of life. The group typically meets twice a month and supports activities that help build connection, such as going on walks and attending social activism events.
On the second Tuesday of each month, Third Acters meets on Zoom for a check-in. Attendees exchange stories, inspiration, and celebrations before discussing a themed conversation for the month, such as “What is your experience of downsizing your home?” The meeting opens and closes with a poem, often by one of the Third Acters.
On the third Sunday of each month, Third Acters hosts a potluck brunch in Leffler House after the 11 a.m. service.
