The Rev. Canon Jennifer King Daugherty

The Rev. Jennifer King Daugherty joined the clergy at Saint Mark’s in 2014 and is currently Canon for Connection and Engagement. She participates in all aspects of pastoral care, liturgy, and spiritual formation at Saint Mark’s. Jennifer serves on the Standing Committee and the Personnel Commission of the Diocese of Olympia as well as the Task Force to Prevent Sexual Harassment and Discrimination. Her interests include Celtic spirituality, creative approaches to scripture study, and engaging the visual arts as a spiritual practice.

Jennifer previously served as Transitional Deacon at St. Clement of Rome parish in the Mount Baker neighborhood of Seattle and as a Spiritual Care Intern at Providence Hospice, Seattle. She is also Managing Director and Partner of Ponder & Co., a firm that provides financial and capital markets advice to non-profit health care systems. Jennifer received a Master of Divinity degree from Seattle University, an MBA from New York University and a BA in Economics from Princeton University. She and her husband, Will, met in college. They have three young adult children.
