THERE WILL BE NO NEIGHBORHOOD EUCHARIST IN OCTOBER. SEPTEMBER WAS THE FINAL OFFERING IN THE CURRENT SERIES.

Each month from May to October September, Saint Mark's parishioners will be taking turns hosting a simple Neighborhood Eucharist in a backyard or park on a late Saturday afternoon. These are designed to be especially family-friendly, meaningful, and brief—a great way to strengthen the connections among us as well as to God's good earth.

UPDATE: The first neighborhood eucharist, at the Ermoian/Kelly residence in Ballard, was a fun and meaningful experience for all present (despite some rain). Kristen Kelly said, "for me, the simplicity and intimacy of the eucharist celebrated outside of the church walls was a beautiful reminder of the power of breaking bread together. And I loved singing outdoors." Penny Reid attended the offering and reported that it was "absolutely splendid... The live music and singing was over the top. Mom loved it too."
