At Saint Mark’s, we embrace intergenerational community and welcome children and their caretakers into many aspects of life here. We also create space for children to wonder and play each Sunday.

Children’s Chapel

Children's Chapel is offered each Sunday at the 9 a.m. service. Children in preschool through second grade join in the Gospel procession before heading Thomsen Chapel for singing and prayer.

Godly Play

Offered a few times a month, this Montessori-based method recognizes that children are already in relationship with God. It invites them to wonder deeply about the core stories of scripture and imaginatively explore our liturgical traditions.

If your child is interested in diving deeper into life at Saint Mark’s, the Choir School is open to ages 5 through 18 and is a central part of formation for children and youth at Saint Mark’s. The Intergenerational Council provides opportunities for relationship building across generations throughout the year, while the Children and Family Ministry Committee plans activities and events specifically for this demographic.
