FRIDAY, MAY 23, 5 P.M., in the cathedral nave and livestreamed

A special Requiem Evensong liturgy with eulogies in honor of the Rev. Dr. Dennis Tierney, who served as Priest Associate of Saint Mark’s Cathedral (2017-2023) and rector of St. Barnabas’ Parish on Bainbridge Island (2007-2016). He also served as Diocesan Property Manager (2016-2025), interacting with many congregations across western Washington, and always with a jovial spirit and operational acumen. A festive champagne reception will follow the service in Bloedel Hall. All are welcome; the service will also be livestreamed at saintmarks.org/livestream.
