The Rev. Adam Conley will lead the group in a discussion about the role of Christianity in supporting a liberal democracy. Tea and dessert will be provided. At 9:15 p.m., any who wish to stay for Compline will attend together.
On the second Tuesday of each month, the Third Acters (60+) gather on Zoom to build community with a check-in, during which time we exchange stories, inspiration and often, joy. Each gathering is focused on a question such as, “How are you increasing your intimacy with God as you age?” Or “What is your experience of downsizing your home?,” and attendees are invited to share. Godly Play is a Montessori-based curriculum that recognizes that children are already in relationship with God. This week, we are inviting children and adults alike for an Intergenerational Godly Play class, where we'll wonder about Peter's Journey together.
This potluck dinner is a collaboration between the 20s/30s Ministry and the Third Acters (60+) and an effort to continue building intergenerational relationships in the cathedral community. Anyone in their 20s or 30s and those aged 60+ are welcome to gather for this potluck. On Sunday, October 25, Emily Meeks will preach at all morning services at Saint Mark's.
