Each week a discussion is facilitated by rotating guest leaders, and lively conversation ensues as people share their thoughts about the lessons. The Vestry meets once a month, usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month. (Note: there is no fourth-Tuesday Vestry meeting in February, due to the Vestry retreat earlier that month. EVERY WEDNESDAY, 5:30–6 P.M., in McCaw Chapel (behind the altar in the cathedral nave) Gather in McCaw Chapel—the space in the cathedral nave behind the altar platform, beneath the rose window. Whatever your prior experience with the Daily Office, come and pray together in community. Attendees can head down to the community dinner in Bloedel Hall at 6 p.m. immediately following the service, and are encouraged to stick around for a Cathedral Commons forum if one is scheduled. Liturgy with sermon and hymns. Music is offered by Saint Mark’s Singers or children’s choirs. Children’s Chapel is offered during the 9 a.m. service. After the Gospel is proclaimed, children pre-school through 2nd grade are invited to Thomsen Chapel for Bible stories, singing, and prayer. Parents are welcome to join their children. LAST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH, 12:30 P.M., gather in the back of the nave On the last Sunday of each month, a cathedral docent will offer a guided tour at 12:30 pm. These tours highlighting the cathedral's history and architecture last about an hour and participants move throughout the building, though the elevator is available. Meet at the back of the nave under the clock at 12:30 pm.
