A community dinner, prepared by Chef Marc Aubertin and his team, is served in Bloedel Hall. Due to food safety requirements, food service must end at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Cost: $6/child; $8/adult; $25/max. family.

Children’s Chapel
Children’s Chapel is offered each Sunday at the 9 a.m. service. Children in preschool through second grade are invited to join the Gospel procession around the Deacon as the Gospel is proclaimed. Then they process to Thomsen Chapel for the Gospel story in a developmentally appropriate telling, singing, and prayer. They return to their families at the Peace. Younger children may attend accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Holy Eucharist, 9 a.m.
Liturgy with sermon and hymns. Music is offered by Saint Mark’s Singers or children’s choirs. Children’s Chapel is offered during the 9 a.m. service. After the Gospel is proclaimed, children pre-school through 2nd grade are invited to Thomsen Chapel for Bible stories, singing, and prayer. Parents are welcome to join their children. Canon Michael Kleinschmidt will offer the Organ by Night music following Compline on Sunday, March 21. Canon Kleinschmidt presently serves as the Canon Musician at Saint Mark's Cathedral.

This group provides a weekly conversation around the scripture readings for the following Sunday. Each week a discussion is facilitated by rotating guest leaders, and lively conversation ensues as people share their thoughts about the lessons. The group meets from 12–1:30 p.m. for study and prayer over the lectionary, led by a rotating member of the cathedral staff and clergy. Join early at 11:30 for social time. Vestry Meeting
The Vestry meets once a month, usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month. (Note: there is no fourth-Tuesday Vestry meeting in February, due to the Vestry retreat earlier that month. The Contemplative Prayer group gathers in the Saint Mark’s Cathedral nave each week. Meetings begin with a time of silent meditation, followed by a discussion of contemplative experience and practices, including Centering Prayer.

Evening Prayer in McCaw Chapel
Gather in McCaw Chapel—the space in the cathedral nave behind the altar platform, beneath the rose window. Whatever your prior experience with the Daily Office, come and pray together in community. Attendees can head down to the community dinner in Bloedel Hall at 6 p.m. immediately following the service, and are encouraged to stick around for a Cathedral Commons forum if one is scheduled.

Cathedral Tour
On the last Sunday of each month, a cathedral docent offers a guided tour of the nave, Thomsen Chapel, and the Cathedral House. These tours highlight the cathedral’s history and architecture as participants move throughout the building. An elevator is available for those who need it. Meet at the back of the nave under the clock at 12:30 pm.
