    Children’s Chapel

    Children’s Chapel is offered each Sunday at the 9 a.m. service. Children in preschool through second grade are invited to join the Gospel procession around the Deacon as the Gospel is proclaimed. Then they process to Thomsen Chapel for the Gospel story in a developmentally appropriate telling, singing, and prayer. They return to their families at the Peace. Younger children may attend accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

    Liturgy with sermon and hymns. Music is offered by Saint Mark’s Singers or children’s choirs. Children’s Chapel is offered during the 9 a.m. service. After the Gospel is proclaimed, children pre-school through 2nd grade are invited to Thomsen Chapel for Bible stories, singing, and prayer. Parents are welcome to join their children. They return at the Peace. Location: Cathedral Nave This service is not livestreamed.

    On the last Sunday of each month, a cathedral docent offers a guided tour of the nave, Thomsen Chapel, and the Cathedral House. These tours highlight the cathedral’s history and architecture as participants move throughout the building. An elevator is available for those who need it. Meet at the back of the nave under the clock at 12:30 pm.
