A Saturday in Advent

What is the significance of the Word of God becoming flesh, and what difference can it make in our lives? In For the Time Being: A Christmas Oratorio, poet W.H. Auden addresses these questions by featuring different voices within the Nativity story while also commenting on our present time. We will explore the poem together and have time for both conversation and quiet reflection. Please bring a copy of the poem with you; a 2013 Critical Edition is in print and available where books are sold.
