A community dinner, prepared by Chef Marc Aubertin and his team, is served in Bloedel Hall. Due to food safety requirements, food service must end at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Cost: $6/child; $8/adult; $25/max. family.

We’ll examine the lives and ministries of faithful Episcopalians whose lives embodied solidarity in suffering. While they responded to their times, circumstances, and the deep needs of others in unique and profound ways, we can draw inspiration and practical wisdom in their remarkable stories and find resonances in the present day.

Come just as you are to Morning Prayer on weekday mornings, on Zoom, following the form of the Book of Common Prayer 1979. All are welcome, whether you're still in your pj's, joining from your workplace, or listening on the move. No former experience with the Daily Office is necessary.

Thursday Morning Chapel Eucharist
A service of Holy Eucharist is offered at 7:30 a.m. in Thomsen Chapel on the first, third, and fifth Thursdays of each month. The service is followed by fellowship and a community breakfast in Leffler House.

The Feast of Saint Francis Celebration & Blessing of the Animals
We'll offer a blessing for all of God's creatures out on the labyrinth and front lawn with the Saint Mark's Choir School offering music. A community reception will follow with treats for pets and people.

Children’s Chapel
Children’s Chapel is offered each Sunday at the 9 a.m. service. Children in preschool through second grade are invited to join the Gospel procession around the Deacon as the Gospel is proclaimed. Then they process to Thomsen Chapel for the Gospel story in a developmentally appropriate telling, singing, and prayer. They return to their families at the Peace. Younger children may attend accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Holy Eucharist, 9 a.m.
Liturgy with sermon and hymns. Music is offered by Saint Mark’s Singers or children’s choirs. Children’s Chapel is offered during the 9 a.m. service. After the Gospel is proclaimed, children pre-school through 2nd grade are invited to Thomsen Chapel for Bible stories, singing, and prayer. Parents are welcome to join their children. Godly Play
Godly Play is a Montessori-based curriculum that recognizes that children are already in relationship with God. On October 4, the younger class will hear about the Great Family while the older class will learn about the Circle of the Church Year.

Newcomers’ Coffee Hour with Clergy
This coffee hour is offered especially for newcomers, guests, or anyone who has questions about the cathedral community and liturgies. Gather in the back of the nave at the conclusion of the 11 a.m. service. Email newcomers@saintmarks.org if you cannot attend in person, or with any other questions.

Choral Evensong
Choral Evensong on the Nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost This ancient practice of singing evening prayers is offered by an intergenerational choir on the first Sunday of the month, October through May. More information is available at saintmarks.org/evensong.

Contemplative Eucharist
This evening Eucharist offers periods of silence for reflection, simple meditative music, and lots of candlelight. Anointing and healing blessings are offered after the service.
