The Black/African American Circle invites you to a special Juneteenth liturgy and potluck BBQ! The worship service will feature poetry, music, preaching, and the Holy EucharistĀ A special offering will also be taken up in support of theĀ Richard Younge Curates of Color Fund.
After the service, all are welcome to enjoy a potluck BBQ on the Cathedral lawn. Protein will be provided. Beyond good food and conversation, there will be opportunities to learn more aboutĀ Circles of Color, theĀ PNW ChapterĀ of the Union of Black Episcopalians, and our friends atĀ Nurturing Roots Farm. Join us in celebrating freedom and the gifts of our Black/African American community!
