A Saturday in Lent

Facilitated by the Rev. Carol Westpfahl

How do you stay in God’s presence during your day? There are a variety of practices and approaches that have been developed to ground us in the Holy while we go about our daily lives. This offering will provide ideas for returning your heart to Christ while driving on the freeway, making a presentation at work, feeding the family, or trying to keep your temper.

A Saturday in Advent

Facilitated by the Rev. Carol Westpfahl

Advent invites us to prepare ourselves for the birth of Christ, God with us. We hear again the angel’s proclamation to Mary, and to all of us who follow her child. Reflecting on the recent work of A.J. Levine, we will hear how other annunciations and other births in scripture may inform our welcome of Jesus this season.
