Liturgy with sermon and hymns. Music is offered by Saint Mark’s Singers or children’s choirs. Children’s Chapel is offered during the 9 a.m. service. After the Gospel is proclaimed, children pre-school through 2nd grade are invited to Thomsen Chapel for Bible stories, singing, and prayer. Parents are welcome to join their children. They return at the Peace. Location: Cathedral Nave This service is not livestreamed.
The Rev. Canon Mary Crist serves on the Presiding Bishop’s Staff as the Coordinator of Indigenous Theological Education in the Department of Ethnic Ministries. She is a Visiting Professor of Education and Indigenous Studies at Bexley Seabury Seminary in Chicago. On Saturday, September 17 she will be offering an all-day workshop exploring Indigenous theology, and on Sunday September 18 she will sit down with Dean Thomason for an informal conversation in the 10 a.m. hour between Sunday morning services.
