7 p.m. Maundy Thursday Liturgy

Cathedral Nave

Holy Eucharist with Footwashing and Stripping of the Altar We remember the Last Supper and Jesus' final teachings to his friends. Liturgy of The Word; Invitation to ritual washing. The livestreamed liturgy will then pause as members of the congregation at home, alone or with others, engage in sacred washing and a holy meal. Altar of Repose Vigil

At the conclusion of the Maundy Thursday liturgy (around 8:30pm), the livestream feed will switch to a feed from the Altar of Repose in McCaw Chapel, where the reserve sacrament will be veiled. Everyone is invited to keep watch during this vigil via the live stream. The livestream will remain active for as long as possible, with the goal of keeping vigil with the reserve sacrament through the night.  Location: Saint Mark's Live-stream web page

The most solemn night of the Christian year. Lighting of the New Fire and the Paschal Candle; chanting of the Exsultet; Holy Scripture. Renewal of Baptismal vows and sprinkling rite.
