Liturgy with sermon and hymns. Music is offered by Saint Mark’s Singers or children’s choirs. Children’s Chapel is offered during the 9 a.m. service. After the Gospel is proclaimed, children pre-school through 2nd grade are invited to Thomsen Chapel for Bible stories, singing, and prayer. Parents are welcome to join their children. They return at the Peace. Location: Cathedral Nave This service is not livestreamed.

Winter Solstice Poetry Reading with Creation Care

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 19, 10:10 A.M., Bloedel Hall Winter solstice brings the first day of winter and a return of more sunlight. Drawing from a selection of poems connected to light, parishioner and English professor Doug Thorpe will guide us in a time of reading and reflection to discover creation themes. A slideshow of light-inspired photos from Saint Mark's parishioners will also be shared.
